• To provide better education following a holistic approach so that children get admission into the mainstream competitive schooling system.

To assist natural disaster victims through emergency relief and rehabilitation.

WHO WE AREàLIGAL AUTHORIZATIONàHence Social Institutions Board (SIB) came into being in 1976 later it was changed to the Social Health & Education Development (SHED) Board with the registration under the Foreign Donations (Voluntary Activities) Regulations Ordinance and Rules 1978. The registration number was DSW/FDO/R- 134- Memo No. DSW/ER/FD/147/753 dated 23-11-1982, and subsequently renewed by the Director General, Bureau for NGO Affairs in 1982.
